DanceAround (2013 - present)

an educational programme delivering afterschool dance classes in educational settings, including organizing and managing public performance opportunities for the students.

​Yorkshire Dance | Dancer facilitator (2018 – present)

Leaps & Bounds:

Weekly workshops to adults with learning disabilities across Leeds. Devise and deliver weekly zoom workshops.

InMature Company:

Lead dance artist; delivering group and one to one sessions to people living with dementia in care homes. Managing a team with an assistant and a musician. Have additional management responsibilities including budgeting and evaluation reporting.

Education group (2016 - present)

Guest dance artist teaching full and half day dance workshops in primary, secondary & SEND educational settings. Workshops themes are based on the curriculum.

establishing an independent dance company.

Lisa Simpson Inclusive Dance | Dance translator (2015 – 2024) Lisa is a non-verbal choreographer with cerebral palsy who I have assisted on past shows and projects. I have also worked with Lisa to develop ‘The Simpson Board’, a communication aid for non-verbal dance artists which I have since used to assist non-verbal artists to choreograph and communicate their artistic ideas.

York NHS training hospital | Dance artist (2019)

Delivering one to one sessions for people recovering from stroke on the specialized stroke ward.

​

Ludus Dance Company | Dancer/teacher (2009 - 2013)

Touring the UK performing facilitating workshops to primary, secondary and SEND schools.

 

Working with early years educational expert: Anna Daly and dance director TC Howard to create a 20-minute workshop show "Night Light" based on the use of schematic play.
